The 2010 Realtors® Care Day will be Friday, April 23, so mark your calendar and volunteer today! The deadline to sign up is April 1.

The first Realtors® Care Day was a huge success! Thank you to the more than 700 volunteers who worked together to repair 33 homes and helped change the lives of the homeowners.

Area Realtors® traded BlackBerrys for toolboxes to make a lasting impression in the lives of homeowners throughout Mecklenburg and Iredell counties on April 24, 2009. Realtors® Care Day was an all-day, home-repair project to help those who have critical home-maintenance needs.

Equipped with hammers and nails, and armed with a passion to give back, Realtor® crews replaced and repaired roofs and gutters, painted entire exteriors of homes, and undertook a host of exterior repairs for 33 homeowners identified as those in need by regional Habitat for Humanity chapters and the City of Charlotte Neighborhood Development.
