CMLS contracts with First American to provide Realist, a tool containing tax data for all 100 counties in North Carolina, as well as York, Lancaster and Chester counties in South Carolina. In addition to county tax data, foreclosure information is also available through Realist. Please read this important documentation about foreclosures in North Carolina and the representation of foreclosure information in Realist. Tax and foreclose data is easily accessible directly from TEMPO. In most cases, data is updated monthly, but some counties are slower than others.
A copy of the Realist User's Manual is available in Adobe PDF format. You can download Adobe Acrobat Reader from Adobe.
Realist ValueMap can help you establish your website as the premium source of home valuations and differentiate your website against the competition. Enter a home address and Realist ValueMap instantly provides the estimated value of the home with highly interactive mapping features, including street maps, aerial imagery and parcel lot lines. Realist ValueMap differs from other home valuation websites by using a combination of local MLS data and First American CoreLogic’s industry leading automated-valuation models.
The Realist ValueMap Quick Reference Guide provides simple instructions for integrating Realist ValueMap into your website.
Realist.com uses the Coding Accuracy Support System (CASS) created by the U.S. Postal Service to provide standardized addressing for mass mailers. It is cheaper for USPS to sort and deliver CASS-certified mail. The addresses on your mail are ones that USPS knows are valid. This greatly reduces mail returned as "undeliverable." CASS certification helps eliminate this wasted mail, and thereby raises the odds of a successful direct-marketing campaign.
Copies of each county's CASS certificate are provided below in Adobe PDF format.
