Third-Party Access
Service providers desiring to access CMLS data in order to offer products or services to CMLS members may request a Third-Party Download. Examples of the CMLS/third party relationship are Realtor.com, Centralized Showing Service, ListHub and Terradatum.
This option is only available under the following conditions: - At least one CMLS Member Participant in good standing sponsors the request.
- Vendors submit requests, in writing, to the CMLS Board of Directors.
- Requests should be a formal letter or PDF of a letter, not an email.

- Purpose of product/service
- Description of product/service
- Product/Service price structure
- Explanation of how product /service can benefit CMLS members
- List of specific fields and records required and desired frequency of delivery
- List of CMLS Member sponsoring this request
After your request is submitted.
- All requests must be approved by the CMLS Board of Directors, prior to the distribution of data.
- All third-party vendors must sign the CMLS Non Participant License Agreement, prior to the distribution of data.
- All third-party vendors will be charged $100 per month for a CMLS data feed (beginning October 2011).
- This process can take two to three months depending on the timing of the request and the schedule of CMLS Board meetings.
- Patience is a virtue.
